Voting begins:Tomorrow we’ll see whether Scotland will become a new state or not.

Now people in Scotland are voting on whether the country should stay in the UK or become an independent nation.

According to the BBC News, votes will be cast at 5,579 polling stations until 22:00 on Thursday. The result is expected on Friday morning.

The number of registered to vote reached 4,285,323 people that is 97% of the electorate.

After the polls have closed, ballot papers will be counted in each of Scotland’s 32 local authority areas.

These will include votes cast from the 789,024 postal vote applications, which was the largest volume of registration for postal votes ever in Scotland.

After votes have been tallied, the counting officer in each area will communicate the result to the chief counting officer Mary Pitcaithly in Edinburgh.

With her approval they will then make a declaration of the result.

I suppose the whole world will cast a spotlight on the result.

British and international economists tend to center on questions of the currency, budget deficits, energy resources and relatively lower growth in Scotland, as well as reduced clout in global affairs for a shrunken Britain for denying Scottish independence.

But it looks like the faction of independence has a momentum.

“The U.K. does not incentivise how to grow the Scottish economy, but the U.K. economy. The no campaign has been prophesying that the sky will fall for so long that it’s just all noise and not credible anymore.” said Alyn Smith, a pro-independence Scottish member of the European Parliament and a former corporate lawyer.

Anyway, the historical moment is coming soon.If Scottish independence becomes reality,it may have a big impact around the world.
